NISMO COMPETITION OIL 2108E 5W-30
Base oil concept
- For the goal of improving engine output, this ester-based oil was developed by combining complex-ester and low friction coefficient mono-ester, with MOTUL's double-ester technology.
Allowable torque of approx.43kgfm (approx. 410ps)
- This is a high-performance engine oil designed for racing-use, naturally-aspirated engines such as the VQ35DE, VQ35HR and others. Designed to gain maximum performance for naturally-aspirated, high-revolution engines, with a base oil and polymers to provide minimal friction loss.
- Through actual fierce competition in many endurance races such as the Nurburgring 24-hour race and the Tokachi 24-hour race, where not only output performance but also reliability was thoroughly proven.
- Along with improved engine output, a reduction in the use of detergent-dispersants, which are connected with friction loss in high-load conditions, the oil provides not only reduced friction loss but also improved oil film retention. Engine response is also improved.
- Consideration was made of the high compression ratios involved and the need to increase oxidation stability, while also ensuring antifoaming performance in high-oil-temperature high-rotational environments and de-foaming performance in 150°C.
NISMO COMPETITION OIL 2212E 15W-50
Base oil concept
- For the goal of engine protection, this ester-based oil was developed by adding polymer ester to compensates for the weaknes in low-temperature performanc of complex esters.
Allowable torque of approx. 70kgfm (approx. 600ps)
- This is a high-performance oil developed, through the use in tuning car racing and drift apprications for use in the RB26DETT, SR20DET and other turbocharged engines.
- The oil has high anti-shearing stability, ensuring good oil film retention from low speeds to the occurrence of high torque, with friction loss kept to the minimum possible level. It ensures the high stability required in situations such as the use of NOS, which can cause an extreme increase of torque.
- To ensure the highest posible reliability without sacrificing output performance, a special multifunction polymer has been used with high shear stability as well as improved detergentdispersant quality. This not only ensure oil film but also provides exellent anti_oil-coking performance, for improved lubrication of turbine bearings.
NISMO COMPETITION GEAR OIL 2189E 75W-140
- Type 2189E (75W140) ensures dynamic viscosity equal to a 190 rating while providing a W grade of 75W. It is an ester compound, 100-percent synthetic oil providing outstanding low temperature properties.
- In a comparison with single 190-rated oil for viscosity (or hyper-viscosity), the 190 oil has an increased resistance to stirring, which is linked to higher oil temperatures. But without hyper-viscosity it is impossible to ensure oil retention at high temperatures.
- The base oil concept behind Type 2189E (75W190) is to provide the benefits of both hyper-viscosity and a reduction of resistance to stirring.
* Differences with 250-rated oil
Generally, 250-rated oil is given hyper-viscosity through the use of additives, once it has reached a high temperature (above 150℃) it will have the property of a lowered viscosity, so that after cool-down its dynamic viscosity on its next use will have fallen to a 140 rating. This is why NISMO and MOTUL chose not to use a 250 rating.
Superior characteristics
- Because the oil's frictional characteristics do not vary greatly with changes in temperature, the L.S.D. operating characteristics likewise will not vary greatly with temperature, so that even in sports driving there will be no discomfort or unnatural driving feeling. It also provides excellent plate anti-judder characteristics.
- The performance of "stabilizing the L.S.D. characteristic" is demonstrated in theNISSAN GT-R(R35) vehicle development test in the Nurburgring circuit, which NISSAN MOTOR carried out. They reported that "the chattering of L.S.D. itself is reduced" at general running.
- Through the release of a number of benchmark oils into the market, including the previously-marketed Veruspeed L.S.D. Oil, NISMO and MOTUL have engaged in both actual drive testing on test courses and racing circuits, as well as bench testing, with all test sample oils brought to the 150℃ oil temperature level where lubrication properties are lost, and checked for the occurrence of stick-slip or chattering. *1
- NISMO and MOTUL have conducted their evaluations on actual cars operated as close as possible to the high-load environment to which the oil will be subjected, even as far as to use iron manufacturing lubricant test equipment to evaluate lubrication properties up to 230℃. This severe testing method has helped to realize the target performance for stable μ characteristics, information that will be used in future product development. *2
- The 100-percent synthetic base oil is mixed with a number of esters and nitrogen additives based on MOTUL's independent technologies, for an oil with the dynamic viscosity rivaling the performance of 190-rated oil, with good cold-starting performance and stable μ characteristics.
*1 Testing is based on NISMO standards
*2 Oil temperatures are brought up to approximately 200℃ in actual vehicle testing, but automotive lubricating oil bench tests in the laboratory do not measure temperatures above 150℃.

RB26DETT OIL SEPARATOR

Blow-by gas exiting the combustion chamber can mix with engine oil and return during the intake stroke. While under normal condition oil collects in the intercooler, blowback can cause parts related to intake, such as the airflow meter, to become dirtied by oil. The NISMO oil separator separates the oil from the blowback gases returning from the cylinder head during the intake stroke, decreasing the amount of oil deposited in the intercooler. Because it is designed to return the separated oil to the oil pan, the oil separator also decreases motor oil consumption. The blowback gases are returned to the engine and are not released to the atmosphere, making this a valuable device for automobile inspection procedures.

LIGHTWEIGHT FLYWHEEL

This lightweight flywheel is created specially for use with NISMO single-plate clutches; it is not only light, but provides the ideal weight to ensure eveness in engine rotation at low rpm range. The use of a high-strength, high-quality chrome molybdenum material enabled a weight reduction of 60% to 70% compared to standard flywheels. Used with a NISMO clutch cover and clutch disc, the package provides a total inertia weight reduction of 80% to 85%, reducing torque loss at low speed while improving response at high rpm. When used with a solid metal disc, it provides improved direct feel at clutch-meet than a dual-mass (damper equipped) unit. At the same time, the same ring gear chamfering process as for standard parts has been used to provide smooth starting through improved engagement with the starter motor pinion gear.

ROCKER ARM STOPPER

Prevents rocker arm from becoming detached during misshifts (over-revs) of SR series engines. Installation involves removal of blow-by baffle plate, and tightening with cam cap bolts. After installation, ensure that there is 2mm clearance between stopper tip and rocker arm.
* Can be used with solid metal as well. In this case, adjust shim after installation.

ENGINE OIL COOLER KIT
BNR32

Attaches to the left front bumper, so air conditioner can be left untouched. Attach an FRP air guide to the air intake side.
BCNR33

The NISMO 400R uses the same oil cooler kit as for standard oil cooler installation. Use of a special bumper with air intake and outlet, and a special air guide provides more stable oil cooling performance. The standard air conditioner can be left in place during oil cooler installation. The special front bumper requires assembly and exchange.
BNR34

By using a #12 hose size, loss of oil pressure due to resistance is controlled, preventing a drop of oil pressure.
Z33

Oil cooler with air guide as a set. Because a thermostat is built in, there is no worry of oil over-cooling during normal driving. Oil hoses are highly durable #10 stainless steel mesh.

R TUNE BRAKE PADS

These brake pads use a high-carbon metal friction material to provide stable braking performance even under high temperatures and high loads. They are intended for cars equipped with S tires driving on circuits, as well as for use on public roads. Brake pads for circuit driving have a large allowable temperature range (rotor operating temperatures), showing stable braking performance from 200°C to 800°C.
The rotor judder that occurs during circuit driving is caused by a dramatic change in the ì between the rotors and brake pads. This can cause a variety of problems, including overheating, the brakes becoming ineffective within just one lap and a dramatic change of system operations while driving.
NISMO R-tune brake pads use an exclusive compounding of friction adjustment material combined with carbon-metal facings to keep brake judder to a minimum. When driving for continuous laps around the circuit, this pad achieves highìsteadily. Because of this, unnecessary braking should be minimized and make stable braking possible.
Some brake pads in the market are strong only in the initial braking phase; the first use of the brakes can result in a dramatic change in wheel rotation speed, and brakes which seem like they should be able to stop in fact may not be able to do so. Also, with theìchanging violently, the car's position during turning or braking can become poor.
NISMO R-tune brake pads both provide absolute system power and initial braking effect that is right for the car's character, resulting in a stable vehicle position during cornering.

This is a single clutch system that takes "the ease of use" and "high power handling" forte of COPPERMIX to the next level. This series also includes a lineup of standard specification products that can handle 380ps.

Employs the industry's first large diameter 240 size disc
Employing a 240 size COPPERMIX disc and aluminum cover combination allows stable transmission and cooling performance. Based on an evaluation conducted by NISMO on several models including those of other companies, it was decided to use a 240 size disc to prevent the drop in performance that occurs when a small diameter disc is placed under a high load. The high power handling single clutches of other companies combine a high application pressure cover with a small diameter disc, but when doing so they just divert a disc from a multi-plate clutch and set it at a high load. The
240 size was selected to achieve excellent durability and ease of use.
Lightweight Flywheel
Equipped with a lightweight flywheel manufactured from special chromoly, the ideal weight has been provided to ensure torque.

NISMO SUPER COPPERMIX CLUTCH KIT -TWIN
A super strong clutch that combines ease of operation with the ability to handle allowable outputs of more than 600ps-this was the concept behind the development of the SUPER COPPERMIX TWIN.
NISMO first used this concept to develop a carbon twin product, a process that took two years, but the low ì of carbon facings meant that they could not provide the performance of COPPERMIX. Over the next year and a half, twin plates using COPPERMIX were developed. So the result of three and a half years of development was the SUPER COPPERMIX TWIN, the final model of the NISMO multi-plate clutch series.

Allowable torque of 84 kgfm for dynamic friction (static friction: 143 kgfm) Handles an estimated allowable power of 670 ps
The multi-plate clutch system takes "the ease of use" and "high power handling" forte of COPPERMIX to the next level.
* The numerical values are NISMO standard measurement values measured using a push-type clutch combined with an RB26DETT engine. Evaluations were made based on street and circuit conditions. No quarter-mile evaluation was conducted.
Using a centre hub increases the amount of engagement between the clutch disc and the transmissions input shaft serrated part to lower the surface pressure on the serrations. This reduces the wearing of the input shaft and prevents disengagement trouble. At the same time, this also reduces the impact shock on the serrations during clutch assembling and suppresses offsetting of the two clutch discs making transmission installation easier than for single clutches.
Lightweight Flywheel
Equipped with a lightweight flywheel manufactured from special chromoly, the ideal weight has been provided to ensure torque.
A special aluminum cover with excellent heat radiation is employed. Also, this is combined as a set with a special lightweight chrome-molybdenum flywheel to achieve the ideal weight setting for the attained torque.
A strap function* is employed to prevent disengagement trouble.
*This mechanism uses the reaction force of the strap plate to cause the pressure plate to keep trying to separate on its own from the disc, and it is thereby employed as a genuine part in all transmissions installed in all production vehicles.
